Dave Berry - mandolin
Dan Roth - drums

Dan's Bio:
Started playing drums in NYC a long time ago.

Played many styles over the years, including blues, country, rock and jazz.

Moved out to SF about 13 years ago. A few years ago started playing the piano as well as drums. I play a set of Yamaha drums.

Dave's Bio:
Grew up in southern Ohio. Started playing a Sigma guitar in 1976 when I was 20. Never really flatpicked much though. Stopped playing when we had kids in the late 80's. Bought my first mandolin when I was 40 and have been playing it ever since. Met Dan through our children's school and had the pleasure to play with him on the children's float in a parade. We now get together once a month in his basement for a session starting with him on drums and me playing old time tunes on mandolin to get warmed up. We then proceed to him on piano and me playing slower versions of various old time favorites. These tunes were recorded on my portable Minidisk recorder with a home made microphone. My current mandolin is a Cole which I whole heartedly recommend as a great instrument at a reasonable price. Check out other tunes at my web site: www.traditionaltunes.com/tunes.html
