This is a banjo tune I've liked for a long time but haven't heard on guitar. It's a fun tune with a nice feel and it makes a good jam tune.

Equipment:
Merrill C-28, Martin D-18VM, Clayton Gold .1.20mm picks, EXP-17 strings, Korg D12 recorder, MXL 2001 microphone, Ensoniq SQ-32 synthesizer (for "acoustic" bass). Recording Notes: I first recorded a click track from a metronome to use while recording the rhythm guitars - rhythm for breaks 1 and 3 on one track and rhythm for breaks 2 and 4 on another track. Next I recorded the guitar breaks - break 1 and 3 on one track and break 2 and 4 on another. The bass track came last. Finally, I mixed all 5 tracks down to stereo. The Martin appears on the left channel and the Merrill on the right channel. Whichever guitar wasn't being used as the lead instrument was used for rhythm.

Bio:
I've been a musician for many years and I took up guitar almost three years ago. I usually play about one or two hours a day. I'm 45 years old; my home is in Coconut Creek, FL and I work in Fort Lauderdale as an Electronics Engineer. My wife is very supportive of my guitar addiction (as long as I don't play while watching TV when she's in the room). For the past year and a half, I've been playing lead guitar with Crossroads - a long-standing south Florida bluegrass band.
