We currently live in Atlanta, Texas. Ryan and Robert
are my two teenage sons, we also have 3 younger daughters. My wife
Terry is the singer in the family, and is currently working
on a CD. We all love acoustic music, and have thoroughly enjoyed associating
with all the fine folks on Flatpick_L.
Instruments: Bourgeois OMC, Sean Watkins signature model
1988 Collings D2H, Brazilian
1928 Gibson A model mandolin
Robin's Reel
I got this tune from a John Reischman CD, who is one of my favorite
mandolin players. I'm playing the lead on the Bourgeois OMC, my son
Ryan is backing up on the Collings D2H.
Rites of Man
Inspired by Mark Cosgrove's version on his Good Medicine CD. This
is a great jam tune with enough chord changes to keep you thinking
fast when improvising. Robert is playing the mandolin, Ryan plays
the second guitar break on the Collings, and I take the other guitar
breaks on the Bourgeois.
