Plectrology 6 (2001)

Once again my tunes were recorded in my "bedroom studio". I used my Yamaha MT4X 4 track cassette recorder to first put down a rhythm track one track 1 then came back and put down the melody track while listening to the rhythm track with headphones.

The tunes are:

Wildwood Flower - Played in the key of G here, I used the traditional version the first time through then a version of my own the second time through. This version is based on the Flatpick-L discussions this past year.

Whiskey Before Breakfast - I owe this version and my learning it to list member Bert Boykin. Thanks Bert!

Gear:

I used my 1985 Martin HD-28 for both rhythm and melody tracks. It was equipped with Nashville Flattop strings (thanks Brad). I used a Clayton white 0.80mm pick.
