These songs were arranged by us, and On a Hill, was
written by Ed. Ike has played the harmonica for over 30 years and
can play nearly any church song you can think of. Ed has been playing
the bluegrass style crosspickin since 1995. I played my 1998 Whitaker
custom 14-string dreadnought. Steve Kaufman noticed that the side-soundhole
makes a perfect cup holder. I thought it was just for more sound to
get to the player's ear. Silly, me. It functions very well as a monitor
when I play out. However, the coffee cup does muffle it a bit. These
songs were recorded open-mic in the sanctuary of the church that I
pastor. We did have much fun doing the recording. Serious fun. Made
Lots of Noise. Drew a small crowd.
